new SIM card so new account on Pay as you go

Can I transfer the unused balance from my old account to the new one?

Hi,

if you have created a new account for your new SIM (separate from your old account) then I don't think it will be possible.

But if you have registered both numbers in your name & both show on the same page in your account when you log in via the same email address then it shouldn't be a problem.

Just call one of the Virgin team on 789. They should be able to transfer the balance straight away. (I have done this a few times myself in the past).

Thanks for your response.  I am in California and use my phone only when in the UK.  Just got my new SIM but cannot use the phone until I arrive in the UK.  Both the old and new numbers show on my account along with the unused balance.  Having no luck trying to Echat or email,  The website is not really user friendly...

Yes you can

Log into your account on the Virgin (UK) website

Quote both phone numbers and ask for the to transfer the balance, it take only a couple of seconds, but I can't say how long it will be before someone picks up the email sadly
