Total utter failure to deliver to new customer

Went online, ordered phone plus tablet as new customer, supported by online chat line...failed to deliver either and now claim I ordered a SIM card only. So what's happened to all the personal data I supplied, the credit checks and the contract? Luckily I have a copy of the online transcript, but wow, the call handlers are unable to resolve anything. After 2 hours of hanging on for things to be sorted my patience has worn thin. Any advice...should I bail out and just accept that Virgin are fundamentally rank amateurs?

Difficult one - depends on how much you want this deal. It appears the tablets they are supplying are nothing to write home about.

Also do you want 4G - it's not available on Virgin

Really good info on the Tablet, and although it would be for using whilst travelling, you want something that's effective.

bottom line, cancelled the contract, and feel very relieved, as the more I read customer reviews, the more I am convinced EE are a much, much better supplier
