Still Cant use my mobile 5 Days have gone?????

Hi 

Paid my bill last wednesday with a bit extra....was told my mobile should be reconnected within 24hrs that was last wednesday...now Monday and still no connection.

Can anyone explain why please...

Sorry you're still unable to use the phone so long after paying the bill.  As it's a few days since you posted, could you let me know if this is still a problem please?  If so, could you PM me your post code please, I'll check if there are any service issues in the area.

Thanks for the reply.

Its now been 7 days since paying the bill ive been told since Monday give it 24hrs etc...its now come to the point ive checked the contract and im legally allowed to walk away from this contract  as well as my TV subscription (which i pay over £100.00 per month)

Sorry i sound a bit miffed but im not getting any were with customer service etc they just say oh call back in the morning...

Hi Matt

 

Yes this is the 13TH Day (unlucky for some) still no mobile data or being able to make voice calls.

Customer services did say last night i would be prioritised and services should be on for 8AM this morning...it is now 14:30 Tuesday 28TH and still no mobile services.

Please Help...lol

Surely basic rules of LAW apply here.

If you are paying for a service and not receiving that service then you have a right to compensation.

I would imagine that you will still be billed for this period when you cannot actually use the phone as intended.

May be worth seeking legal advice

Im seriously considering leaving Virgin. Gonna just cancel my TV as well ive been looking at Sky Packages etc and O2 Tomorrow will be 14days without use of my mobile getting irate texts of friends family etc because i cant reply back...id seriously hate to be stranded somewere :-( Grimm times.

Day 14 and still switched off...Been promised twice now from Virgin Support they will call at 8AM it is now 11:05 AM and still no call...yesterday was the same...no call backs.

Lets see how long this goes on for... now it looks like im paying for a Virgin Brick :-(

Day 15
No service.
No callback
Could take another 24hrs to switch back on.
All being said Virgin are meant to be cutting edge technology etc I think they really need to invest into better computers and maybe emails :-)
