Premium text received from 700046109

Hello All,

I just logged into my virgin mobile account and noticed that there is several Premium Text from 70046709 at £4.50 a message! I cannot recall singing up for any such service.

Wondering if anybody else has had similar messages and what you did to stop them?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Premium text received from 700046109

This is from an older post

I've been told by Virgin Helpline to text STOP ALL, in capital letters, and the one space between the two words, to 82344, also to 36030 and 46109, which, curiously, are the last 5 digits of numbers I have received these texts from. One can also ring phonepayplus (I don't know if that's the correct spelling of the name) on 0800500212 which, now things have changed, should not cost us any more money, either.

If you tap the number into the EE Third Party Services (link below), you'll get the info of who is sending them and the short code needed for sending a STOP text, also email and phone number info if you need them.

Thanks J0hn.

Spoke with someone in CS who said to text STOP to 82888.

Hopefully, should stop any future scam messages!

Wet... winter is coming! :-|

That was helpful. Got company name/info. Seems similar scams going on other networks too.
