Photo/video message

I have received a photo/video message but I have not received a password. How do I retrieve the photo?

Re: Photo/video message

Hi Marymulrine,

actually you are probably best off using a PC or laptop.

The amount of problems from people using this system, if it doesn't work for you first time, try another browser.

When it asks for password if you don't have one maybe it is called "sender id" or "message id"?

Re: Photo/video message

No joy with that either unfortunately. I do have a Virgin account, and I can get as far as inbox, but can't get further than that.

Re: Photo/video message

Hi Marymulrine,

Virgin's picture message retrieval is often problematic for people judging by past posts on this forum.

To confirm a few things:

Did you use this link on your laptop: https://virgin.mms.ee.co.uk/virgin/

Presumably you can enter your mobile number OK begining 447 ?

Have you now found / able to enter the password / code (usually at the end of the SMS telling you you have a picture message).

What occurs for you when you do this?

To help with future picture messages coming straight to your phone. Use this link HERE select your handset and follow the link to setup picture messaging.

I think the usual advice is to then send yourself a picture to activate the service.

Re: Photo/video message

Hi Alexkid.
I did use that link, that is the link you sent me before. I did put in my number beginning with 447, but still have no password. I already tried to set-up my picture messaging on that website, but with no joy. There are a lot of messages on that site of people having the same problem as me, unable to set it up, and differing stories from not paying the right tariff to having to downloading viber, whatsap etc..
