New Samsung S4 Mini will not register on the Virgin network.
I have bought a new Samsung S4 Mini, but it will not register the Virgin network. I have taken out the SIM and reset it, and reset the network search several times. I have also contacted a Virgin Team member for advice and they are sending a new SIM. Having read other posts on various websites, I see that this is a problem on several devices and not usually a SIM issue, but as yet I have not seen a clear answer to the problem.
If you know how to fix this, I would be grateful for your advice.

Hi Rich. Yes, it was a new S4 Mini. I received a new SIM, but this did not make any difference. I also tried various network options on the phone, but none of them would register on the handset. I tried a factory re-set and this did not work. I tried switching on and off various controls on the phone. I have now returned the phone to the shop I bought it from. Thank you for your suggestions for mending the S4 Mini.
