My mother used virgin mobile and accidentally left the 4G on that resulted in extra charges. I called Virgin Media and requested the explanation of the charges and was looking to find some sort of help reduce the charges for accidental use but was told by a manager "We run business nothing we can do help with the charges, you should not have left the mobile broadband on". Appalling customer service and not sympathetic.
I only started using Virgin mobile and was thinking to move from Vodafone but certainly not. I should think of leaving Virgin media as well after such an experience.
