Cannot receive phone calls when wireless connected
I recently upgraded my phone to the HTC one mini 2. There were no problems getting it all set up. However after a while friends began to tell me that they were having trouble getting in touch with me (they were getting the number unobtainable message). After googling I heard about this wireless issue and proved it by making phone calls to my phone from my wifes phone. There were no problems connecting when disconnected from the wifi but when connected to wifi my number was unobtainable.(I have virgin wifi)
After further searches on the internet I changed the network mode from GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto to GSM only.
The phoned now works as it should but I believe that the phone should operate better on original setting.
I phone virgin who advised me to do a factory reset but I am not sure this will resolve the issue.
Re: Cannot receive phone calls when wireless connected
Welcome to the forums
I'm sorry that you've had some issues with receiving calls when connected to Wi-Fi. It seems like there's a potential fault with the phone and our network. Changing the network mode definitely suggests this. After a factory reset, how's this looking for you?
Let me know as soon as you can. I'm here if you need anything.
