Tivo freezing and re-starting daily

Hi Folks, 

I have 2 Tivo's here at home, for the last couple of weeks one of them has started to freeze and re-boot, however the other seems ok.

Running a status test from virginmedia.com seems to hang on 99% every time, if I cancel and attempt to re-start it tells me I reached my 3-attempt limit?

Is this likely to be a hardware or service issue?

Hi there G5amo, 

I'm really sorry to hear that you've been experiencing some issues with one of your TiVo® boxes, I'd love to help out. 

I've done some tests and can see that on one of the boxes we're seeing reports of a faulty hard drive, so I'd like to arrange for a technician to call out and investigate further for you.
