TiVo Spotify Can't Log in - Login details incorrect

 Hi All,

I have a premium Spotify account and have done for many years.

i have just recently got Virgin and thought i would use the app on the Tivo.

I have been trying to log in with my account since Friday evening and it keeps telling me that my user name and password are incorrect.

This is very much not the case. I have logged out of my iPad and iPhone and logged back in to ensure that my password and username are correct and they do match.

Any ideas?

yeah it is case sensitive, but that is all correct Smiley Sad

Thanks for the reply.

Its still not working i am afraid Smiley Sad

I tried resetting my password to ensure that i was 100% sure that i was correct and again confirmed all was working via my iPad,iPhone and PC.

I have a full spotify premium account which i have had for a while and pay for directly to Spotify not Virgin, in case this makes any difference.

Any help you can offer would be greatly received.

Hi illusion,

 

Thanks for the update and I'm sorry that this still isn't working for you.

 

Can you please follow these steps in this article: How do I sign out of Spotify on TiVo®?  I know you technically haven't logged in, I want to be sure the App is fully logged out of before you try to log in again.

 

If that doesn't work try these 2 steps:

 

*  Carry out 2 service connections.  (HOME > HELP & SETTINGS > SETTINGS > NETWORK > CONNECT TO MY VIRGIN MEDIA SERVICE NOW.)

*  Reboot the box to finish off.

 

The service connection can take around a few minutes normally, can take a little longer.  Once the service connection has been done twice, power  off/on the box to refresh and then try again.

 

Hopefully this will work for you.  Let me know how you get on, I'm here to help if you need me.

Didn't change anything, and it has just started working?

Happy that it's working but as I say, not sure why.
