Recordings being deleted

Hi.
Has anyone had shows or whole series deleted from my shows?
After setting up series links, ensuring priority and selecting keep until i delete they just disappear.
Nothing in recently deleted just completly removed. No clashes and plenty of free space.
I am currently watching season 4 of Suits on Netflix. Had series 5 in my shows and 6 currently recording.
All of series 5 has been deleted and half of 6.
Very frustrating

Thanks for coming in and posting your message.

 

I would like  to ask if you have been able to record any of the shows since they have been removed. Also, can you tell me if the series link originally was set to 10 only and then amended later?

 

I've tested the boxes and there's nothing I can see out of the ordinary, which is good news.

Hello Ben thank you for replying.
The shows were set to 'keep until i delete' and keep the maximum from the very beginning.
I have not been able to rerecord as they are not being repeated

Sorry about the deleted recordings. I know how frustrating this can be!

 

It's unusual that the recordings weren't in the 'recently deleted' folder. Has it happened to any other recordings since?

Still being deleted!! Bought season 5 of Suits, now half of season 6 has disapeared.
Pointless setting priority amd selecting 'keep until i delete' if they are being deleted anyway.

Thanks for coming back to us on this one and I'm really sorry to hear that the box is still deleting things without you knowing about it. 

 

Did the engineer come out after the last incident? If so what did they advise? Did they replace your TiVo®?

 

Has anything appeared in your Hiccups? Also did you record the programmes from Catch Up or from Live TV?

Hello.
Yes an engineer did come out.
The fault was put down to the recent updates of the Virgin boxes.
The deleted items did not go into any folder, just straight up disappeared.
As of this afternoon my box has totally broken though. No lights at the front, nothing at all.
I was watching a programme one minute then the screen went black and shut off.
