I have lost confidence in your ability to resolve the buffering problem.

I have Virgin Wi-Fi so if I buy a Smart TV with Wi-Fi will I get Netflix without any problems? Also will the Virgin set box connect up OK. Peter

Re: I have lost confidence in your ability to resolve the buffering problem.

Yes and yes. I have a Samsung smsrt tv. The set-up was ridiculously easy...the result is error free catch-up players, netflix, personalised apps, usb connections etc. No more relying on VM.....need I say more : )

One word of warning though, my son got an LG set and (at the time) it didn't have all the player apps. Something to do with the licensing agreement?? I don't think this is the case any more but best to check out the current situation whatever you buy.

Tivo is now my STB and recorder and finally does a good job most of the time. It is however slow, it can't be personalised, and has that overblown and dreadfully complicated UI. It still reminds me of a 1980's computer program. Hope this helps.  B
