TV anywhere device not detected

Hi there,
Just got a new mac book air and tried to log on to Virgin TV anywhere and am having issues with the device not being recognised. I didn't have any issues previously with my older mac book pro. Help?! I'd love to watch the United game in BT sport tonight!!!
Cheers.

Re: TV anywhere device not detected

Have they said whether it's an issue with the new mac specifically or just not bothered to address the issue?

Re: TV anywhere device not detected

Hi MikeWilletts,

Thanks for your post and apologies that you're having an issue with your device being detected.

Just so we can run through some diagnostics, can you let me know the following,

What OS is your new Mac running?

Is this the same as previously?

What browser are you using? What version is it?

Is your Adobe Flash and Browser fully up to date?

Let me know so we can investigate.

Thanks,

Re: TV anywhere device not detected

My operating system is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1

I use safari, version 8.0 (10600.1.25.1)

And I have uploaded the latest flash player

Re: TV anywhere device not detected

Hi MikeWilletts,

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

All those match the technical requirements for use with TV Anywhere so I'm not sure where the problem lays.

Try using Firefox instead. Does this make any difference?

Make sure your cookies are also set to always.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
