Ah, back to the old "blame customer's equipment" chestnut.
Laptop A, Core i5 home machine, and primary device for TV Anywhere. Windows 10, IE11, ethernet connected. Buffers & stalls frequently. But for the past week, I can't get a stream to start at all; the stream window goes black for a couple of seconds then disappears, leaving a grey background. Deleted & re-registered it. Same problem. Got an extra device change & tried registering in Firefox ESR & installing the latest Flash inside it. Same problem. On demand doesn't stream either. So I can't use this device to stream TV Anywhere at all any more & I'm at a a loss as to what else to try. Seems I'm not alone in this with other users here reporting the same.
Laptop B, Core i5 work machine, Windows 10, Firefox, Wi-Fi. While this one continues to stream (hence me trying Firefox ESR on laptop A), the stream buffers & stalls on the same channels at the same time as Laptop A. And I shouldn't be using this machine for streaming TV anyway really.
Update: I can stream again, after switching from a 64-bit to a 32-bit browser.
For the last 3 days, I have tried watching CBS Reality at 5pm. Every day it has been skipping & repeating and unwatchable. Just tried ITV2 via TV Anywhere (as well as iPlayer via the BBC website) and those are OK. Eden was OK for an hour late last night too.
To be clear, you really think that sending a tech out to address this issue is (a) going to fix it (b) a sensible use of company resources?
