About a month ago, recordings setup from the TV Anywhere app stopped working i.e. they did not record. I re-booted the TiVO box and that seemed to work for a week or so but now it is not recording requested programmes from the app.

Apologies to hear that recording being set up via the app are not working. When you set the app to record something does it give the impression it has successfully gone through or do you get an error message?
Do you have more than one TiVo® at the house? If so, check the other box to see if the recordings are being made there instead.
