This has been going on for a number of months now, we've had an engineer out who installed a new router as apparently that was the problem but the speed is still the same. We should currently be getting 50 MB or there abouts but it's a struggle to get above 5 MB.
In the South Yorkshire area, anyone else experiencing the same?

Sorry to read that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds. I know how frustrating this can be.
From checking your connection, there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004020089 and with a review date of 30th November.
As this is impacting your connection during peak hours, do you get these speed outside these hours? Are you testing through a wired or wireless connection?
