I've had a lot of problems lately with the speed of my connection and started to notice that the pre and post RS error count was, to say the least, rather large, after calling support I was told that it's a "utilization" problem in the area and will be "fixed by the 30th of Aug" but this problem has now been ongoing for the past several months and i'm pretty unhappy about it.

Sorry to read you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.
Looking at your connection, I can see the high peak time traffic fault in your area which you mentioned. The reference number is F004882715 and has a review date of 30th August. As this is a review date it can be subject to change.
With the RS errors, if you reset these do they rise quickly? Are you able to post the downstream information again after a reset please?
Do you notice slow speeds at all times of the day? If you complete a speed test through a wired connection, what do you achieve?
