i have been getting extremely slower than usual broadband download speeds.
i am currently on the 200mbs package and everything use to be fine my average download speeds at its beast where 202mbs with around 13.5mbs up. although for the last few weeks maybe even months my speeds have been lower than 60mbs with average down streams of 60mbs to 117mbs and up streams of 9.3mbs to 12.6mbs. nothing else is fixed to the line straight to the super hub 2ac tried different coax cables etc no faults with the isolator... would be great if someone could help.
Sorry to hear you're getting poor speeds. I've just checked your connection and can see that the SNR had been on the low side at the time you posted, this would have affected your speeds though it looks to have recovered now. Are you still getting the same speed issues?
yeah its still slower than it should be the highest im getting right now is 102mbs down, sometimes it will jump to 155.3mbs. but very rarely now. i used to have a hole 202mbs down so theirs defo a fault some where i had the same problem at the start of 2016. but was resolved. must be something stupid going on somewhere... also experiencing high pin jumping around from 18ms to 140 ms
i have done some more test and all is well now i believe it was a faulty coax cable i have changed the f plugs etc i am using a cheap coax cable i picked up and fitted new f-plugs to it. i am now getting full speeds. is there any way of getting official virgin media coax cabe? as its just cheap coax i'm using.,.. the ones in had from virgin are faulty.
