Constant issues multiple times a week, dc and under 1mb/sec,

For the past two, nearly three months I have been having issues (North Belfast, area 26) these issues happens mostly between midnight and 4 am when I need good speed most but do happen during the day.

 

The issues come in three forms.

 

The net speed drops to in or around 1 MB/sec which is unusable and can last for hours.

 

The internet drops completely for up to two hours

 

The speed drops and a few mins later it dc.

 

As this happens mostly late at night I can never get onto customer support as it is closed, when I can get through as the center is in India there is language issues because of my heavy accent along with theirs and they never understand it only happens at times (they do the usual, ask to reset, see nothing is wrong tell me to call back when it happens) and I am at my wits end.

 

About a month back a customer service rep set up a tech visit which never showed up, I am paying a large amount per month for 200mb so this is becoming beyond a joke as it effects my livelihood and I would like some advice and help.

A heavy accent from North Belfast ? As if..

If its any consolation they dont understand East Belfast (mine) either....

Anyway to get to the bottom of your issues,

  • Which HUB do you have
  • How are you connecting to it? Wired?Wireless?
  • Do ALL connections drop at the same time? Or JUST wireless? Or JUST wired?

It's a mix of Republic of Ireland mixed with Swedish, mixed with Belfast accent all rolled into one so it's quite a mash up of accents.

 

I'm using the newest hub, the Superhub 3.0 over both Wireless and wired connection, when the connection goes or drops it goes down over everything.

Okay can you post your downstream and upstream power levels from your HUB's interface?

Upstream power levels are questionable- heading toward the upper limit but still in spec.

Set up a BQM

 

HERE

 

Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

This is almost what it is like on a constant basis.&nbsp;
Current speed test is 19ms ping, 0.26 down, failing on up.
