My off peak speeds are amazing here in area 20, i did a test 6.10 am this morning and i managed to get over 50mbps on a 200mbps connection, phoned the tech guys recently, all is ok on my end and to my shock everything is ok at your end apparently, so my next job today is to write to the customer services director.
Anyhow i have only 2 months till my contract is up and i will be returning to zen.
I also live in the area 20 and have FullHouse XL package, that includes 200Mbps broadband. Couple of weeks ago I started noticing that speed in the evenings (around 19:30 - midnight) is very low, 15Mbps as of now. During the day it's fine, back to 200, so it's unlikely there's something wrong with my equipment.
Service status checker doesn't show any issues.
Could you please let me know if there's anything going on in the area and what can be done about it?
Hi. We are in area 20. Should be called area 51....What area is 20? We had a new install last week. Was told the speed would settle... at the moment its all over the place but no where near the 200 mark we were promised...15-45mbps...What are VM doing about oversubscribed area's? How can they sell 200mbps and us not receiving anywhere near that speed...we came for sky due to poor Internet .....frying pan fire.. we got talked into the full xl house package ..with the promise of reliable service. But this time its costing me more money.. not happy...a couple of days and I'll be calling VM to complain...
been playing with the settings channels etc ,, but have now ran a cat6 cable to the pc from the hub and getting 185mbps, so wifi is the main problem, now looking at adding a old router and just having the hub as a modem..
