Alright I don't normally tend to have any issues with VM and I'd like to continue using your services as I have been for the last 5 years. Now if you are going to continue capping my speed between 6pm-11pm I am going to cancel your services.
Please look into this issue ASAP as it's extremely frustrating...
Im very long with virgin as well and I have the same problems and believe me its not only us. In my opinion after the whole "upgrade" thing virgin capacity is touching the ceiling thats why all users are experiencing speed/line quality problems.
we all get the speed cap at peak times and its crap ... unlike sky unlimited means unlimited !!
Unless you are on the base package you are extremely unlikely to hit the cap. Which FYI is on upload, not download. To be blunt I cant think of a legitimate reason for hitting VM's new fair usage policy. Even fairly upstream intensive apps wont come near it. MAYBE a shoutcast server or similair 24/7 might, but to all intents and purposes unlimited=unlimited.
Far more likely you are hitting over utilisation at certain times of day that being capped.
