+5 year customer

Alright I don't normally tend to have any issues with VM and I'd like to continue using your services as I have been for the last 5 years. Now if you are going to continue capping my speed between 6pm-11pm I am going to cancel your services.

Please look into this issue ASAP as it's extremely frustrating...

Im very long with virgin as well and I have the same problems and believe me its not only us.
In my opinion after the whole "upgrade" thing virgin capacity is touching the ceiling thats why all users are experiencing speed/line quality problems.

Re: +5 year customer

not all users are having speed problems. What you see here is a very small set of the customers.

Re: +5 year customer

Hi Wisdom22,

Thanks for coming back to us here and sorry to hear that this is still ongoing.

I've been able to look into this and certainly found that you're part of an ongoing over-utilisation, which we are working hard to resolved as soon as we can.

Additional info to this, we do have a reference and date of review which which I'll post here:-

Ref:                  F003453177
Review date: 3rd June 2015

Our apologies for the current affair, if you'd like to give our customer care team a call for a loss of service credit and possibly bump this post nearer to the date so we can keep an eye on it.

Many thanks.

Unfortunately Sky isn't as quick as VM.

Anyway, back to crap speed again:

Unless you are on the base package you are extremely unlikely to hit the cap. Which FYI is on upload, not download. To be blunt I cant think of a legitimate reason for hitting VM's new fair usage policy. Even fairly upstream intensive apps wont come near it. MAYBE a shoutcast server or similair 24/7 might, but to all intents and purposes unlimited=unlimited.

Far more likely you are hitting over utilisation at certain times of day that being capped.
