Re: Possible Phishing email

I have moved this thread to the right place on the Forum. You will see from the Board stickies and from other posts that this is an obvious, common and well known scam. That's it guys - a scam pure and simple. VM will never ask for information like this to be provided in this way. It does the rounds reglarly. Just delete it and think no more of it. VM are fully aware.

Re: Possible Phishing email

I received the same email this morning. I've checked my account and everything looks ok. I'm not going to respond, how do they get our email addresses though? Security breach?

Re: Possible Phishing email

The e-mail address mine came to is not the usual one I use for stuff from Virgin, but it is one that I have in the past received considerable amounts of spam in the past.

Re: Possible Phishing email

This morning I received an email that I can only think is phishing, telling me my bill couldn't be paid and my services were being cut off if I don't click on the link.
Checked account and everything seems fine.
Have Virgin got a department to forward these phishing emails onto?
Or should I just delete it?
