Long lead time for install?

I'm just trying to see if my installation date is typical?

Wanting a faster Internet, I signed up on the 11th (possibly the day before) and was told the install should be early Feb (which is fine).

Last week, I was notified this is now the 2nd March.

 

I'm currently in 2 minds to cancel and just stick with BT (never had any problems).

I did call CS and ask if this could be improved and they then offer a date towards the end of March.
When clarifying, I was told to call back in a few days to see if there are any cancellations.

 

I'm in Hertfordshire (area 24) and this just seems a really long time to wait.

Hi!

Just an update.  I used online chat to an agent and this has been re-scheduled to early February.

The agent was very helpful and so I'm looking forward to joining Virgin in a few weeks!
