Is my connection damaged?

Pls see my profile picture.

Trying to order my installation and I'm not sure if the connection is damaged. I know when talktalk installed they went through the virgin box.

Help! Trying to avoid a £40 bill

Can I just check are you having an installation of our services because the engineer can check this for you when they visit your property.

I opted for the self install because the person on the chat said if I selected engineer installation and it wasn't damaged then I would be charged for the engineer. Hence the reason Im posting this. I know talktalk installed through the virgin media box in my wall so tbh I'm not expecting it to work but I don't want to get charged unnecessarily
