epson EP245

have also just bought a new wireless Epson XP 245 printer. I have followed all of the instructions, but an error message has come up.

The network channel assigned to your Wifi network is not supported by the printer. This may disable your printer's wifi connection.

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm desperate to start using my printer for work VIA wifi ive called to tech team who could not help!!

idont know what the problem is as printer works fine when connected via the cable but will not connect via WPS or through the USB set up getting same error message.

Re: epson EP245

Without wanting to state the obvious, have you tried changing the WiFi channel?

Personally I always run network printers wired. Far less hassle.

Re: epson EP245

Hi godzchil,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

Sorry to read you are having an issue with connecting your printer to the wireless network.

In regards to changing the wireless channel, take a look at this link > Changing your Virgin Media Hub's wireless channel as it will give you more information.

Try this and let us know how you get on

Sam

Re: epson EP245

Hello godzchil,

Thanks for getting back in touch Smiley Happy

You can try a few different channels to ensure you're using the best one for your environment.

Let us know if this resolved the printer connection issue.

Thanks again,

Take care.
