have also just bought a new wireless Epson XP 245 printer. I have followed all of the instructions, but an error message has come up.
The network channel assigned to your Wifi network is not supported by the printer. This may disable your printer's wifi connection.
I'm hoping someone can help. I'm desperate to start using my printer for work VIA wifi ive called to tech team who could not help!!
idont know what the problem is as printer works fine when connected via the cable but will not connect via WPS or through the USB set up getting same error message.
Without wanting to state the obvious, have you tried changing the WiFi channel?
Personally I always run network printers wired. Far less hassle.

Sorry to read you are having an issue with connecting your printer to the wireless network.
