I have recently been having an issue with my vivid 200 service in which my connection to the router is cut for about 1-3 seconds every minute or so, I have spoken to some friends who also are with virgin and they too are having this exact issue. This is causing a lot of problems while playing online games.
It will take around a week for a member of virgin staff to get to this.
In the meantime could you navigate to 192.168.0.1, don't login but go to the hub stats and post them here, hiding you wan ip if it appears.
It may also help to setup a BQM http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping although you'll have to disable the hubs firewall to get it to work properly. However it will show if you're having regular disconnects from the wan side as well as if you're suffering packet loss etc.
