VMDG480 Question

Hi....

Been with virginmedia for the past couple of years and I been using a VMDG480....    However for the past six/nine months or so I been keep getting link dead reports in that I can't access any web pages on the internet and have to wait for a couple of minutes for it to reconnect to the web.  While I still able to use the router - after a while it does get on your nerves with the router drops after a while.

I been reading that some of the VMDG480s has been coming to the end of their natural lives and was wondering if I could get some help on this from either Virgin or the kind people on here.

Was thinking about Vivid but just want these drops to go away.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

 

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your broadband connection.

 

With the level of broadband speed that you are currently on, the router you have is not compatible and for this I would like to send you a replacement. I've sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please. Once you have replied I can order this for you.
