Printer loses connection with Hub 3.0

We had a problem with delivered speed of the broadband connection, as part of the resolution we received a new Hub 3.0.

Now the printer (HP Photosmart 6510) can't seem to hold a connection.  It only prints when just switched on, or if its IP/wireless connection is switched on then off.  All devices lose sight of it after a minute or so, and the printer itself registers that it has lost connection a bit slower than this.

What settings do I need to adjust on the router to enable this printer to be on my local network based on the Hub 3.0?

Re: Printer loses connection with Hub 3.0

Hi there MarkThierry,

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Printer disconnecting.

With the Hub 3.0 it does broadcast the both 2.4 and 5 Ghz network as one. You can separate these with a different name and password, to make it easier for your devices to connect too.

To do this type in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, sign in with the details underneath the router and on the right under Advanced go into Wireless.

Try this and let me know if this works.

Sam
