Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

So to separate them, do I just have to give them each a different name e.g. add 2G and 5G to the end of them?

Yes and just leave the password the same so it matches the labels on the Superhub 3.

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

Have tried this and again, still getting the same message. It runs through the motions as if it wants to join, however just cannot make that final step in joining the network.

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

Yes all Apple devices. My phone can connect to the Hub, however any Apple devices that I have tried will not.

When I rang VM on Wednesday evening, they were trying to tell me it was an issue with my laptop (as other devices had not been tested by myself yet) but I am not willing to buy a new laptop when it is perfectly able to connect to WiFi elsewhere, including other VM products.

Hopefully I will have more answers come Monday following the IT specialist visit.

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

Good luck on Monday. You did say Android connected slowly so it could be a wifi hardware problem.

Did the original engineer not offer to change the Superhub 3 to see if it made a difference?

Sorry I can't help more.

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

No that option didn't come up, which I thought it would because it would have been better to see if a different Superhub 3 would work - and that would have saved another trip for another person.

No thank you for your help so far, even just trying bits and pieces was helpful incase it made a difference!

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

SInce upgrading to VM Hub3.0 my iPad will only connect intermittently. As does my wife's iPhone. My Andriod phone works fine. I have tried splitting 2.4 and 5 bands, turning them on/off, changing security settings etc. From a bit of googling it seems clear to me a) This is a widespread problem and b) VM seem to be in complete denial about the issue. Oh dear.

A sys admin I work with suggested buying a 3rd party Wireless Access point and using the VM Hub 3.0 in router only mode.

Epic fail for VM!Smiley Mad

Re: Can't Connect Apple Devices to Superhub 3.0.

What are the circumstances of the intermittently connecting devices? For example - is this in the same room as the Hub 3? Is Hub security set to WPA2 (which it should be)? Which ios is each device on? What do the Hub lights show when the ios device(s) lose connection? Do they lose connection at the same time?

There is no reason why the ios devices should have unstable connections if there is no other fault. I say that based on my Hub 3, iPhone 6S x 2, iPad x 2, Android tablet.
