Yes all Apple devices. My phone can connect to the Hub, however any Apple devices that I have tried will not.
When I rang VM on Wednesday evening, they were trying to tell me it was an issue with my laptop (as other devices had not been tested by myself yet) but I am not willing to buy a new laptop when it is perfectly able to connect to WiFi elsewhere, including other VM products.
Hopefully I will have more answers come Monday following the IT specialist visit.
I'm having a similar problem I can connect to the virgin super hub 3.0 with my I phone 5 and 6 . Plus no problem connecting to my I pad and my Apple Mac But I cannot connect to this hub using my wife's I phone 4 and my sons toshiba laptop
SInce upgrading to VM Hub3.0 my iPad will only connect intermittently. As does my wife's iPhone. My Andriod phone works fine. I have tried splitting 2.4 and 5 bands, turning them on/off, changing security settings etc. From a bit of googling it seems clear to me a) This is a widespread problem and b) VM seem to be in complete denial about the issue. Oh dear.
A sys admin I work with suggested buying a 3rd party Wireless Access point and using the VM Hub 3.0 in router only mode.
What are the circumstances of the intermittently connecting devices? For example - is this in the same room as the Hub 3? Is Hub security set to WPA2 (which it should be)? Which ios is each device on? What do the Hub lights show when the ios device(s) lose connection? Do they lose connection at the same time?
There is no reason why the ios devices should have unstable connections if there is no other fault. I say that based on my Hub 3, iPhone 6S x 2, iPad x 2, Android tablet.
