Can I change the superhub out completely for a new modem

Hi,

I currently have the VM superhub 3 and due to it not having very high channel bonding rates the speeds are awful at peak time but could I switch it out for a NETGEAR one like this: https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/cable-modems-routers/CM700.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_org.... The DOCSIS 3 cable would plug direct into the modem. Is this possible or have VM restricted the possibility of doing this?

Thanks

Ali

no you have to use the superhub. you can use your own router but you have to use the SH as the modem.

The SH has no problem with channel bonding.
