Area 20 - Packet loss and very slow

All websites, including my.virginmedia.com and the VM forums are loading extremely slowly, sometimes not at all resulting in a time out message. I have tried over wireless and Ethernet but to no avail.

Running a trace route to my company's server in the UK and seeing extreme packet loss throughout:

Ping is just as bad:

Packets: Sent = 260, Received = 202, Lost = 58 (22% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 43ms, Maximum = 153ms, Average = 53ms

Done a speed test via speedtest.net and getting 88Mbps down and 18Mbps up. When it runs the test, it takes at least a minute to begin, then another minute to start the download after doing the ping. It's usually quicker than that.

I have a homeworks connection @ 300Mbps and usually able to achieve over 200Mbps most days, but tonight it's proper crap.

Is there a problem? I'm in area 20.

Pingtest.net suggests there is a problem somewhere:

Thanks for the post! I am sorry to hear about your issues with broadband performance having packet loss and being slow. I apologise for any bother.

I have tested your connection from here and I noticed that there's a number of T3 time outs inside the Hubs logs, I would like to arrange for an engineer to attend and investigate this further for you.
