Written confirmation needed from Virgin Media - Urgent!!
Trying again on a new post - what exactly do I need to do to get someone from Virgin Media to send me a response in writing regarding the accurate monthly total of my bill before I sign a contract. To summarise:
After a ongoing saga of issues and complaints, an advisor (apparently from CEO's office) phones me to apologise and by way of compensation offers me an upgrade to the V6 box with no install costs and at a discounted cost of £45 per month instead of the £65 I was originally quoted.
Contract comes through and it shows £55 per month. I phoned to query this and have been told that they cannot change the contract but will give me a rolling discount of £10 per month. I have asked for this in writing as I am not happy about signing a contract based on a verbal agreement. Been told that they cannot send me an email!!! I have now emailed Tom Mockridge, posted on here, posted on the Facebook page, sent another letter by post and still nobody will respond to confirm my contract sum in writing. I ask, for the final time, please could somebody from Virgin media respond to this post in writing as the next stage is to write to the ombundsman.
