Latency

I complained about the lag issues on the SH3 and was given an SH2AC router as a temporary fix. Using it in modem mode with a Netgear R7000 router.

Looking at my quality graph does this look good? I'm no expert so can someone check this, is there anything else I can use to confirm the line quality?

Thanks

Re: Latency

That looks great! Heres a comparison to mine when i was having really big problems. You had a very small ping spike around 11am but other than that its a very good result.

Re: Latency

Good comparison of SH2AC vs SH3  i.e tezza192 vs pyrotenax.

I have an SH3 however my minimum ping is a bit better at only 10, maybe because I'm running in modem mode?

Realy looking forward to intel fixing things and virgin patching it into the firmware

Re: Latency

@stevedh2 .... I too run in modem mode with own router (ASUS RT-AC88U). Your comment about "intel fixing things and virgin patching it .." is a large can of worms thrown into a nest full of angry hornets

Re: Latency

Btw I have a draytek 2850 I got cheap from ebay as I need to loadbalance with an adsl connection.

out of interest what pings do you get to your router and to the hub from your desktop.

to my router I get <1ms

and to the hub I get 2-4ms
