Spam email about speed upgrade.

 

 After 5 agents at VM , have been advised this is spam email . If you receive one that says in a red box :-

Your now online at your new speed ,----- it`s fake,  spam email there are no free speed upgrades.

Why would you think this was spam? It clearly isn't. I had one too and they had upgraded my speed automatically as I knew they would eventually without me doing anything. I have no idea what VM staff are up to. There are free upgrades. 

The mail shows no signs of spam. It does not contain an obviously dodgy phishing link. There are no suspicious images and the wording matches VM's advertising and promotion for its cable system. That would be spam. What would any spammer have to gain from sending this?

John in the broadband tech dept has advised this is spam email. There are no speed upgrades. Only advising what John at NCL office has just said.
