That would explain a few things.

Re: This is worth reading.

Enthralling stuff - Reminds me of 30 years of Police Service with re-organisation round the corner every 5 years. I lost count of the number of boundary changes resulting in unnecessary transfers in the name of saving money.

However, in the case of VM its more about making money rather than saving.

I Think that he was commenting on the fact that the report stated that  'VM were unavailable for comment' rather than making a direct one himself....Smiley WinkSmiley Wink

Re: This is worth reading.

At the end of the article it stated that vm were unavailable for comment.

However some of the long awaited vm replies on the tivo board are so facile that no comment would be preferable.

I could give dozens of examples but to paraphrase.... mods: we are surprised to hear that you have an (extensively reported) problem with your box, we've checked and don't see anything wrong.

Switch it off and on again and get back to us so that we can pass the problem on to somebody else.

These 'non problems' are reported widely in the vm forum on twitter and other tech oriented forums and sites.

Don't even think about getting me started about yet another undeserved price hike for a much more inefficient service than I had when I first subscribed many years ago.

But my apologies for going off topic.
