TV Box stuck on Wecome
TV box is stuck on Welcome screen, tried a reset but still stuck on Welcome screen when starting up, tried phoning 150 but of no help, had lots of messages about phishing emails about balances and how the emails are not Virgins fault but on trying to get through to an agent to report the faulty box all I got was questions which the system said they didn’t pick up a reply or just got cut off, any suggestions on how to report a faulty TV box would be much appreciated125Views0likes1CommentVirgin V6 Crashing Samsung TV
Hi all - I recently updated my virgin box to have the new UI/Software, but since doing the update the TV's software crashes (Samsung Tizen), this only happens on the Virgin input - I haven't had this issue with the Xbox or any streaming apps, and the TV then gets caught in a boot cycle for a few spins, but then runs fine (ideally, it shouldn't be doing this and is very inconvenient). Each time I use the tv go app it asks me to re register my device even though it is already registered. This means I keep running out of changes and can no longer use the tv go app on my phone…even though it’s registered. Please can my devices be reset? I don’t know how else to solve this. Hi I had to reset my V6 box because it was out of storage and it is saying that it'll take an hour; it's been going back to the welcome screen and then saying that this could take up to an hour. It's been 3 hours now and it's showing a download sign; again it's just in a constant loop. I've checked all the cables and changed it to a different room and it's still the same. I have also tried to hold the power button and the - button but it's still doing the same thing. Any help is appreciated. Hello, I have received a message today stating that I have reached the maximum number of devices that can be registered on my account and unable to replace any until 01/06/24. I have 2 PCs, phone and tablet. I have tried all browers, cleared the cache and tried the app. Everyday one PC states it needs registered. Hi For some time, one of my V6 boxes has been having issues when playing back recorded content - stuttering, can't fast forward, freezing, etc. I tried to reset the V6, but it is now stuck in a seemingly endless cycle of Welcome, Starting Up, Deleting Content, Welcome,... I suspect the HDD is the issue and a replacement V6 box is required. However, I can't find how to easily report a hardware fault to VM. Can anyone help please.701Views0likes2Comments
