Email verification not working from email change
I have changed over to a new email provider and wanted to change on Myvirgin to the new email. Everything ok, changed email and then just needed an email verification, sent the link and clicked it once received. When I tried to log in it said i needed to verify email, even though that was what i had just done.. Takes about 3-5 business days to receive the email and just goes in circles. Can someone please help?45Views0likes3CommentsForgotten password, Reset email doesn't arrive.
Hi, We are helping our mother manage her account online and email a form today which meant we were able to get her email details changed to a live account she has access to with the plan we now go through the forgotten password process, however, the emails NEVER arrive. Can one of the mods please reach out so we can sort it out?37Views0likes3CommentsHow long are emails kept
I would like to know how long Virgin Media keeps emails on the server. When I ask the question on any search engine, all I get is how long they are kept after leaving Virgin Media. I am not leaving, but want to access old emails. The reason I am posting is because I have moved to Windows 11 and all my emails are now IMAP, which does not save local copies. I used to have POP3 on my Windows 10 and was able to keep all old emails archived locally. This is not longer possible. There does not seem to be any way to access archived emails on the website either. p.s. When I used to post to the Virgin Media Community, there used to be options to post to a specific forum group. That appears to be gone, or I can't find it. There appear to be only Tech and Community natter? Hi all, I’ve had my VM email account for over a decade, mainly for emails. After a recent technical issue that impacted email access, I’ve been transitioning to my iCloud address. However, I still need access to my VM email for important information collected over the years. Currently, I can’t log in or reset my password. When I try, I receive this message: “Please ensure you provide the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media.” Support asks for a postcode or account number, but I no longer have access to this information since the account is over ten years old and the related VM contract is inactive. Despite this, emails can still be sent to my VM address. I’m concerned the account might have been dissolved without warning. Could anyone advise on how I can regain access or reset the password? Thank you for any support.887Views0likes8Comments
