Virgin Media box and wires
Hi team, I'm a long term Virgin Media customer, though have only been in my current house about 9 months. Virgin Media was already installed when we moved in, so the set up went very smoothly. I'm not sure what has happened at the house previously, however we seem to have a significant amount of internet wires coming in and out of the box and the house (see pictures). We have one virgin broadband hub and one virgin TV box, so I'm sure most of the wires are surplus to requirement. I'm wondering if someone can help me with advice/help on getting these rationalised and tidied up? Thanks BenOutside brown virgin media cable box cover completely broken
The outside brown virgin media cable box / cover is completely broken and come off. I am concerned about the cabling integrity to the natural elements as well as unscrupulous people who can easily cut the wires (It has been done before I'm sure) . I couldn't find anywhere on the Virgin Media help site and app to request a replacement box - how do we go about arranging this please?Solved8.7KViews0likes18CommentsOngoing box issue
Over last 3/5 months having more and more issues with my box freezing, not reacting to the remote, not changing channels, not coming out of standby mode now I’m 17 hours where my box just doesn’t come out of standby mode and just have the start-up words on the screen.55Views0likes6Comments360 box power off
Ever since signing up to the 360 service the set top box keeps powering off when not in use. It has to be switched off at the back and switched on again. It’s so frustrating, the 360 update has made my box almost unusable (especially coupled with the fact it wiped all my recordings which I don’t understand why?) The power supply seems fine and nothing else has changed prior to the update, all cables checked and the hub seems fine. Help please?638Views0likes2CommentsVirgin stream box
Hello, I have a Virgin Stream box, and I didn't have any problems with it until I decided to move it to the other side of my house and connect it via a Wi-Fi repeater. I have a GL-SFT1200 Wi-Fi repeater, and I can see the SSID of the repeater on all my devices, except for the Stream box. Out of curiosity, since I couldn't find my Wi-Fi repeater, I clicked on a random open Wi-Fi network. As a result, my Stream box now says "I am not at home" and doesn't allow me to change the network. That's the first part of the problem. The second part is why I couldn't see the repeater in the first place?385Views0likes3Comments
