Virgin Media box and wires

Hi team, 

I'm a long term Virgin Media customer, though have only been in my current house about 9 months. 

Virgin Media was already installed when we moved in, so the set up went very smoothly. 

I'm not sure what has happened at the house previously, however we seem to have a significant amount of internet wires coming in and out of the box and the house (see pictures). We have one virgin broadband hub and one virgin TV box, so I'm sure most of the wires are surplus to requirement. 

I'm wondering if someone can help me with advice/help on getting these rationalised and tidied up?

    Sorry to see of the multiple wires on the external of your property, which now appear to be surplus to requirements.

    Check out the envelope in the top right hand corner for your screen and we can seek to have a member of our field team out to review this for you.

    That's an unusual looking box on the wall, and a similar looking one next door with cables between them. I suspect that many of the wires are not Virginmedia.

    Hi David, 

    Hope all is well your end. 

    Just getting back in contact to confirm that Chris came on time and on schedule. He did a great job in removing many of the excess wires. 

    There was one set of wires (photo attached) that Chris said a different team would need to come out and fix, as they'd need to fix the wires into the ground and Chris didn't have the equipment to do that. 

    I was told to expect an email arranging the works but haven't had anything through. Just wanted to check that this hadn't been forgotten about.

    Curious to know why the tech didn't move the wall box to the location next to the drain pipe moving everything into the corner, against, the wall and out of the way. The supply cable could then have been neatly clipped to the wall.
