virgin media passcode

still waiting for a passkey i cant use any virgin media web apps

  • If you've set up a Passkey, then this will be why it's not allowing a password - passkey's are higher security than a password. 

    If that doesn't work or you don't remember it, click 'verify another way' and you should be able to do additional security :).

  • was is a passkey never had a usb passkey now cant use any virgin media services

      A pass key is passkey is a form of multifactor authentication that uses public key cryptography in combination with biometrics like fingerprint and facial recognition or a device PIN to verify an account ownerโ€™s identity. Passkeys act as a replacement for traditional passwords.

      You should get one of these after signing up to our account, did you get one?

      no and been with 25 years plus i joined when ntl started never had one dont think they used them then just tuck out upgrade the contract does not include a passkey

    We can see we did respond to your recent post regarding the passkey on Friday.

    Could you please let us know if you have registered for an online account?

    If so, please kindly provide some further information on what happened when doing so and what error message you received etc.

      i cant log in have my password but it says now must have passkey as password option no longer available why asking for passkey never got

      Thank you the update kevhoy and when you say you've put a password in has this done anything for you?

      Can you now get into the account at all?

        no there no option only passkey i never had

  • why are virgin making unresolved problem as resolved when iam still waiting what would happen i didnt pay and say i have

      Please can you advise what happens if you try and set a passkey up?

      Do you get any error messages?

      Does it let you login to the account if you set one up?

      Follow these steps please;

      • Log in to your Virgin Media O2 ID account with your existing password.
      • Navigate to Account settings, and then select Security settings.
      • Find and select Add a passkey or look for the option to add a new authentication method.
      • Your device will guide you through the rest of the process, which may involve using your device's existing security, such as a face scan, fingerprint, or device passcode, to create the passkey. 

      Any issues after this we will look into this as a matter of priority. Keep us updated.

      if you head to the login page here ๐Ÿ‘‰ virg.in/myVM and then click 'Register' rather than 'Login' and run through this process.
