Virgin TV 360 box being moved from my house to my dad's house.
Hi Mum (87) and dad (89) can't get on at all with virgin stream box after moving from sky q They thought they would get a virgin TV 360 box like I had installed earlier in the year at my house in the same village. After nearly 2 hours on chat I asked if it was possible to have my virgin TV 360 box moved to their house as they would be able to record. Then move their Virgin stream box to my house as I am used to using streaming and watchlists. I was informed it is possible and I have been booked an engineer visit for Tuesday 14 October. After looking through many articles on the internet, I think this may be wrong. Can anyone confirm it is ok as I pay extra to be able to record and my parents do not. We are really confused. hi, my stream box keeps turning off and the issue is getting worse, especially when using Netflix and live TV. I receive a message on my TV that the box is off as no connection identified, despite it still showing a white light on the box itself but I have to reboot the whole box a couple of times to get it working again. anyone else had this issue? I have been trying to upgrade my Virgin package by taking advantage of an offer in My Virgin media online account: Mega TV for £14 and Sky and TNT Sports for £39 on a stream box. I plan to add multi-room at a later date. However, the next day I received an email asking me to call the contact Center in order for them to process the order. Upon calling the call centre (Overseas) I was told a myriad of things one agent said that they can't process this order as its online only, another said they would have to charge me £50. At this point, I had already been provided with a contract information sheet stating my new monthly cost. Another agent said they could do the same package but for £150 a month. One agent in retentions was able to set it up and said that he would ask a back office team look into it. I was assured the box would be on next-day delivery. The next day, the box still has not been sent by Virgin Media. Virgin state the box is out for delivery and will arrive within 2 hours. Yodel says they have not received it. One member of staff hung up the phone on me, staff in the local shop were beyond unhelpful (Claiming no access to systems). I've had a Stream box sitting unused since I set up my broadband (as I had no need for it). I've just tried to install it finally this morning and found there's no power adapter in the box. Is there a way to request a new power adapter by itself? I've tied the Virgin help chatbot doesn't seem to be able to answer any questions about equipment or even seem to know that Stream exists. Hi All, I have a Virgin Stream box which is connected to my Sony TV. I am replacing the TV with a Panasonic Smart TV which has got Freeley. Do you see any problems with connecting the streamer? I'm actually trying to move over to a Stream Box from an existing V6/360 box because of ongoing issues with boxes always overheating and fan noise/HDD noise. I don't need the recording feature of the existing box, and something that runs much quieter and cooler would be idea. I rang customer services figuring it would be a welcome request as the 360 boxes are being killed off anyway. I was told it is not possible, the only way to do it was an additional £10/month fee and have it as a second box. This seems ridiculous. I'm actually trying to do VM a favour here as one of these days their dodgy hardware is going to set my house on fire. I was also hoping the Stream Box, which uses a different distribution mechanism (the broadband line not the dedicated TV coax) may resolve the sounds and sync issues which have emerged over the last few weeks and for which I am still awaiting a report back on some sort of fix. Is there a list of what services support Dolby Atmos on Virgin Stream anywhere? I think I've found references to: Netflix through the app with the Premium subscription? Amazon Prime through the app with the 'Go Ad-Free' subscription? Sky Sports with the UHD subscription? Do these work? Have already contacted Virgin Media who said that this would be sorted within 2-3 working days, but 2 weeks has gone by and nothing has changed and our Netflix is still on hold. Without warning, despite paying for our Netflix add on as normal, Netflix has put our account because they have not received payment. We have paid Virgin, but they seemingly have not paid Netflix! Really want this fixed as we are still paying for our Netflix add on despite still not having access to our Netflix account. I have cancelled my TV360 and I am now BB only account, my TV been switched off, how can I get the stream box? Been all over virgin site and my virginmedia and nowhere do I see the option, feels like they don’t want us to have one. Surely this should be available option in my virginmedia to get one? Any pointers in right direction other than using VM call centre or chat would be great.
