Virgin TV 360 box being moved from my house to my dad's house.

Hi

Mum (87) and dad (89) can't get on at all with virgin stream box after moving from sky q

They thought they would get a virgin TV 360 box like I had installed earlier in the year at my house in the same village.

After nearly 2 hours on chat I asked if it was possible to have my virgin TV 360 box moved to their house as they would be able to record. Then move their Virgin stream box to my house as I am used to using streaming and watchlists.

I was informed it is possible and I have been booked an engineer visit for Tuesday 14 October.

After looking through many articles on the internet, I think this may be wrong.

Can anyone confirm it is ok as I pay extra to be able to record and my parents do not.

We are really confused.

My parents could use sky q but just can't get used to virgin stream box.

Thanks for any update

Do they have the hub 5X? If so only the Stream box will work. And even if they have the option of a 360, it's best to give them instructions on how to use their box. Hint: using voice control is a big help.

VM cannot change provisioning of boxes from one account to another. They would have to issue new boxes to both accounts. Also bear in mind that V360 only works on the traditional cable network. Newer fibre only connections can only run Stream boxes.
