Samsung Universal TV Remote and TV 360
Hi, I have been offered the upgrade to TV 360, which I will initiate when I get back from holiday. My TV is a Samsung which comes with a universal remote. This currently works well controlling the TV and the TIVO box. I've read the existing posts in the forum in relation to using the Samsung universal remote to control the TV 360, but there does not seem to be a definitive answer. So if anyone out there has successfully used their Samsung remote and the TV 360, please could list the steps you used to set it up. Any help gratefully received. Kind Regards, Bill4.2KViews0likes3CommentsIs TV 360 really limited to certain areas?
I've recently switched to virgin and been given the stream boxes. I went on the chat the other day asking about TV 360 as I was not aware I would be losing my ability to record TV to watch later, and they said that it's not available in my area. Then they said that I can record on the stream box using a USB device, which when looking I can see that's not possible at all. So I'm just wondering if the information I received about the TV 360 box was correct in the first place. It's just a quality of life thing, if TV 360 is limited to specific areas then that's fine.70Views0likes3CommentsNo TV service since account transferred to me after death of my dad.
I've got no TV service, and it's been like this now for over 24hrs. Ever since the bereavement team transferred the account from my dads name into mine. Every channel. Just says I need to subscribe. Have DM'd told it takes a few hours but will sort itself out. If not just restart the box. Which I've done six times now. Don't understand why the TV services have disappeared when everything else is working fine. Can anyone offer help. Or am I stuck waiting for Virgin to monitor for another 24hours before sending an engineer?669Views0likes2CommentsLong cables not compatible with TV 360 Box Splitter cable - need help
I need some help on what type of extension cables / adapters I need to make use of the new TV 360 Box and its Splitter cable and connect it to the Virgin Media Wall Outlet and Hub 3. I have received the TV 360 Box today but the longer cables that were sent to be appear to be incompatible with the cables that came with the TV 360 Box. I initially reported to Virgin Media support that the TV 360 splitter cable is too short for me, specifically the broadband cable (labelled blue) and i don't think the customer agent understood my query in all honesty judging based on the longer cables they have sent me. Firstly i think I need a female to female cable so i can connect from the TV 360 splitter where it says "Wall" to the "Virgin Media Wall Socket" on the wall. If you see my picture of the wall socket and the label marked as "Wall " on the TV 360 Splitter Cable, how on an earth am i meant to connect from the splitter to the wall socket? Do i need a isolator cable to connect from the splitter cable where it says "Wall" to the Virgin Media Wall Socket? Can Virgin provide the necessary adapters and cables? Secondly the broadband cable marked as blue on the Splitter cable is short for me in order to connect it to the Hub 3 Router. I think I need an extension cable "female to female screw in cable" because my Hub 3 router (see pictures below) has screw in connector if that make sense. I need to be able to connect from the broadband (blue label) from the TV360 Splitter cable to the Hub 3 Router. Does that make sense? I have attached the pictures of current setup: Virgin Media Wall Socket and how existing broadband cable is connected to it to the Hub 3 Router Virgin Media Hub 3 Router and how the existing broadband cable is connected from the Wall Socket to the Router Splitter cable from the TV 360 Box I have received from Virgin today. My issue is the TV 360 Splitter cables are "push-in / don't screw in" type but as you can see from my pictures, my current setup are all screwed in. The longer cables sent out to me have a label that says "don't screw in". So I am confused based on my current setup. Can Virgin provide the necessary cables and extensions please? Can someone explain to me what adapters and extensions i need to make use of the TV 360 Splitter Cable?1.6KViews0likes3CommentsTV 360 Box not starting up
Hello, Hope someone can help. My Virgin TV 360 box is not starting up properly. The light on the power button remains on Amber. When turning off at the mains for more than 10 minutes, the TV seems to be turning back on an goes to the welcome start up screen with all welcome in all the languages, but then goes black and the problem remains. I have also tried restarting our virgin WiFi, which had no effect. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you16KViews0likes7Comments
