Missing power cable
Hello, I was not given a power cable or PSU adapter for my virgin media 360 TV box during the initial set up and I never realised as I didn't have a TV to use it with up until recently. I am unable to get in contact with a member of customer support to sort this out so hopefully the problem with be resolved here instead.20Views0likes0CommentsVM 150 help service
Is now totally useless- took me 5 attempts to get the service to pick up- once you connect it tells you I’ll now transfer you to a member of team - no it doesn’t - asks for your mobile number so they can send you a text to the useless web site to fix your problems - only, you don’t get a text. They ask for the preferred mobile number again- you type it in again! And then the robot tells you , sorry we aren’t able to send you a text - goodbye !! Utterly useless and pointless. I’m off to BT once my contract is out.207Views4likes7CommentsA few questions about TV 360.....
We have two Tivo boxes that are starting to show their age so I'm looking at changing to the 360 boxes because we'd still like to b able to record but I just have a couple of questions first, which I'm hoping this forum can help me with. Apologies if these have come up before. We currently have the 1gb broadband with a SuperHub 4. Would I have to change this to a 5 or 6? If I do have to change the hub, does all the existing coaxial cabling from the outside just go straight in to the SH5/6? I have my SH4 in modem-only mode to an Asus router. I assume the SH5/6 also have modem-only modes? The SH4 and Asus router are upstairs in my office, not next to my TV downstairs. I believe the 360 box can use wi-fi - according to the Netflix speed check on the app on the TV, we get 50mbps wi-fi downstairs - will that be good enough for the 360 box? Does the 360 box make use of the coaxial cable from outside like the Tivo box does? If it does, does any of it need to change for the 360 box or is it simply unplug from the Tvo and straight into the 360? Many thanks for your help DaveSolved179Views0likes7CommentsTV 360 Box not starting up
Hello, Hope someone can help. My Virgin TV 360 box is not starting up properly. The light on the power button remains on Amber. When turning off at the mains for more than 10 minutes, the TV seems to be turning back on an goes to the welcome start up screen with all welcome in all the languages, but then goes black and the problem remains. I have also tried restarting our virgin WiFi, which had no effect. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you17KViews0likes8CommentsError CS2002
Well I "upgraded" to a 360 box and set up went fine. Except I couldn't access the channel 4 app for catch up and one or two other things were glitchy like it wouldn't pair with itv app either. So I thought I'd switch it off at the plug and see if that helped. It didn't and now I get error messages, this channel has failed, we can't show you this channel, check your cables etc. Checked cables, factory reset twice and I can't watch anything. Just tried to watch a recording and now it's completely crashed.53Views0likes1CommentHow do I Uninstall 360?
Literally EVERYTHING about it is worse than what I had before. I didn't even ask for it so I consider this mis-selling. First, there is no way to get rid of the channel logos in the on-screen program guide. They are SO annoying and completely unreadable. I wan the name of the channel next to the nuimber, that's all. I DO NOT need a stupid difficult-to-read logo designed by a four year old. Do not interpret this as a request for better logos... I want NO LOGOS... ever! Next, there is no way to manage Series Links. 90% of my viewing is series links. I used to press ONE BUTTON to get to my shows, now I have to press SEVEN!!!! And all that gets me is a list of currently recorded shows. There is no list of series links, only of recorded shows, no wish list and no undelete. There is no sub-titles shortcut and I still haven't figured out how to turn them on and off... probably another god-knows-how-many button presses. I'm not a child... I don't need to have a conversation with a gadget. If I were blind I MIGHT ask for voice control, but I'm not and I didn't and I absolutely do not need or want it. This isn't an "upgrade", it's a very significant DOWNgrade. EVERYTHING was better the old way. I want things back the way they were. The way I see it, Virgin's options are: Reverse the software change and let my box work the way it used to If you can't reverse the damage, send me a new box that will work the old way Cancel my subscription... there are other providers. Take your pick. If you don't choose Option 1 or 2, *I* will choose Option 3283Views2likes9CommentsError code CS2214
Hi, the 360 box in the front room will no longer pause or rewind live TV, I can no longer record anything or watch previously recorded programs, ('Error CS2214 - Failed to play recording. There's an issue playing this recording. Please try again'). The box says recording space is full, I deleted over half of the programs, but no space got cleared and after a restart, the deleted programs had returned. I have tried a factory reset, (but kept recordings), but it changed nothing and I have also restarted my router, although how this would affect watching a program on the hard drive I don't get. Is anyone else having this problem and how was it fixed please? Is the hard drive faulty? Thank you Ste52Views0likes2Comments
