Scheduled recording
Hi I have had 3 360 but had 2 of them replaced at the weekend so now have one 360 and two of the stream boxes. Since they have been fitted all our schedules for recording are not working it asks me to subscribe to view them? I believe they are linked to the removed boxes I have factory reset the 360 box and it now shows I have 0% recordings but the old schedule recordings are still showing and will not delete. On my go app it still shows my old 360 boxes so I think these need to be removed off my system. I have reached out to the call centre but I don't think they understood what I was saying. So having upgraded (joke) from 2 TiVo boxes one upstairs and one downstairs with no problems to Virgin tv 360 box and mini box in June the mini box is useless I can’t watch anything that’s been recorded on it, it is constantly buffering I can’t only watch live tv, which destroys the whole object of the exercise it’s obviously a connection problem but I can’t move the box closer to the router and can’t move the router closer to the mini box. I got a virgin wifi pod but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated52Views0likes2Comments360 box no thank you
Received 360 handset information sheet tells you what it does but doesn’t tell you how to make it work . Took me some time to work it out need to activate it through the 360 App an update leaflet with handset would be nice but I still don’t want it . 1 virgin handset turns on TV box and soundbar on but won’t turn soundbar off ! 2 won’t operate TV just virgin 3 TV remote operates TV only so now I need 3 three remotes to operate TV box and sound bar 360 handset won’t link with sound bar error CS9993. 4 search & record guide doesn’t show when show first broadcast 5 360 doesn’t show record live and streaming Option 6 need to now press button 6 times to get to recordings. 7cant record a show from start if the show has already started and I’m sure there will be other differences between the V6 handset and 360 that make 360 worse but I’m told my old V6 had old software that had to be updated At present I don’t like it521Views0likes11CommentsError CS2002
Well I "upgraded" to a 360 box and set up went fine. Except I couldn't access the channel 4 app for catch up and one or two other things were glitchy like it wouldn't pair with itv app either. So I thought I'd switch it off at the plug and see if that helped. It didn't and now I get error messages, this channel has failed, we can't show you this channel, check your cables etc. Checked cables, factory reset twice and I can't watch anything. Hello. I have been waiting for episode 6 of Iain Sterling roast the internet to be added to the on demand section. It's a comedy central show if that helps. It originally aired on Monday 6th october and has still not been made available on demand over a week later. Previous episodes have taken a few days to appear on demand but over a week is ridiculous. Episode 7 aired last night and I still have been unable to see episode 6. I checked the virgin TV go app and it's not available on there either. I’ve had the V6 Box for a decade with few, if any, problems but was told I needed to upgrade to the TV 360, hand remote, option only. The upgrade was easy compared to some of the issues I saw on here at the time so thought great. This is supposed to be an upgraded better system but in just over two weeks it has deleted recordings and series links with no option to recover them. I see on here that it’s most probably a faulty box so why oh why would Virgin only give updated remote controls with this potential problem that looks like a frequent issue? Does anyone know the easiest way to get in touch with Virgin apart from calling which I’d like to avoid if possible, as I can’t see a live chat option anywhere?219Views0likes19CommentsUltra HD & HD TV
I have been watching ultra HD on my HD tv for sometime now and it has suddenly stopped working. Same weekly programs. Every time I try the channel it says ’Your TV might not support this channel’. If I play a new recording it says ‘UHD not supported’. It’s a shame I haven’t kept anything I’ve previously recorded and watched from the UHD channel to see if it still works. The Virgin documentation say’s it should downscale content to fit your TV. Which it did, I assume until now. Hi, I recently received my new TV360 remote controls in order to upgrade my old TiVo boxes to TV360 software. However, the update message has disappeared from my settings and my apps and help are all greyed out so I can’t update. When I called about this asking if the upgrade message could be resent, I was told I would need to have an engineer out to swap boxes. However, I thought the whole point of having the new remotes sent out was so that this was just a software update I could manage myself. Any ideas would be greatfully received - is it best just to make an engineer appt? Thanks.77Views0likes2Comments
