phone calls from (VM apparently) probably scams?
OK, so, had 3 phone calls today so far, from this number, and a foreign female stating 'she was calling from Virgin Media with regards to my account, and needed to verfiy my account' Now she didn't ask for anyone by name, or give any details about the account. Initially I was very wary of her, and refused to continue the conversation, and hung up. She called again a few moments later, and repeated the same dialogue, but I again hung up without answering this time. Persistant, she then called again 5 minutes later, and tried again. Again I didn't engage with her, and hung up. Obviously a scam, as VM don't call customers!! Number was a mobile, : 0794637xxxx [Mod - number edited in case innocent number being spoofed]58Views0likes2CommentsIs this text legitimate?
Hi all, sorry for what I know is a repeat question, but I wasn't able to find the actual answer when this had been posted before! I'm trying to set up Virgin broadband in a house I'll be moving into next month, and had to leave my details because my address didn't appear on the dropdown. Today I received a text that says "Hello, You recently made an online application for Virgin Media services. To complete your order please give me a call. tony on (number)" It looks super sketchy, but since I don't seem to have any hope in speaking to a real person on the phone, I wanted to see if it was legit. Thank you in advance!72Views0likes1CommentForwarding Phishing Emails to phishing@virginmedia.com
Why am I getting "Not read: [External] [Warning may contain malicious URLs]" from phishing@virginmediao2.co.uk when I forward phishing emails to phishing@virginmedia.com? But If I use the netReport Hub I get "PLEASE READ: Helpful information about your report to Virgin Media Internet Security, ref:######" from noreply@virginmedia.invalid? Is there a problem with phishing@virginmedia.com? Thanks.Solved1.8KViews0likes4CommentsEmail Hacked

Hi. I've just found an email from <identityclaim@account.virginmedia.co.uk> in my junk folder. Is this genuine or a scam? I asks for me to link my O2 & VM logins. I haven't done that as it looks suspicious to me, especially as it was in my junk folder. AnthonySolved2.1KViews0likes4Comments
