Email verify

Hi

Are emails from [REMOVED]@virginmedia.com and [REMOVED]@virginmedia.co.uk both legitimate?

I received the following email from the UK email address after signing up:

Hi there,  

Thanks for contacting Virgin Media about getting some of our services. It's great to hear you're thinking of joining us!

We'd like to talk to you to as it appears that some information that we need to process your order was missing. This will help us take the next steps towards getting signed up, so just call our team on 0800 052 7588.

As we need to look further into the details of your order before we can go ahead with your install, any pre-payment that you have made online will not be processed until your install date has been confirmed.  

We're looking forward to hearing from you!

Is this legitimate? Im struggling to get any proper help from Virgin on this as they say its too early to track my order. I need to know if I have signed up to something legitimate or not.

      Thanks for confirming. I am disappointed by the service i have received since signing up.  There was no obvious fault with my order and I got confirmation emails until receiving the above email two days later. By this point, the free Toshiba television offer has expired and I have been told on the phone that I can no longer receive this due to an unexplained 'error' with my order despite order during the active offer period. I have since been told you may be able to fulfil this after all.

      Please can you confirm if I will receive the order I signed up to, including the free television? If not, I will be cancelling my whole order.

        Thanks for coming back to us on this one. If there was an issue with your order details, it's possible the team needed to put the order through again for you. As the TV offer is only available online, it's possible that you'll not qualify. I can see you've already spoken to the team and they've referred this over to the gifts with purchase team to check if you're eligible. They'll be back in touch once they have an update 😊

  • Hi, I have not had contact to confirm if my order is processing or not. Can I please have this confirmed in writing with my contract? If I do not hear any further I will have to cancel. Thank you for your help.
