Quickstart issues - flashing red light
I have today received my new Hub 5 after moving into my new flat. After following all the Quickstart instructions I am left with a flashing red light. I phoned the activation team and they activated the hub while on the phone with me but I still have the same issue. I have tried multiple resets, unplugged and plugged the cables several times and hours later still red flashing light. Previously the fault detection website was saying "your equipment isn't installed right" but now it's gone back to "your service hasn't been installed yet" but only offers to let me track my hub delivery (which already arrived...). [MOD EDIT: Subject title changed for clarity]Hub 5 Stuck on Flashing Blu
Hi all, my Hub 5 reset itself (or perhaps we lost power over the weekend, not precisely sure) and now is just stuck on the flashing blue light. While I can connect to my Wi-Fi network, it alerts me that there is no internet connection. I’ve tried a number of steps that I saw others posters suggest but so far I have had no luck. So far I have tried unplugging the power for 30/60 seconds, pressing the WPS button, pressing the small reset button on the bottom of the Hub for 30 seconds, accessing 192.168.0.1 (which was stuck requesting a CM IP address) and factory resetting, but all of which still get me stuck on the same flashing blue light. If anyone from Virgin can assist I would appreciate it. Also, if any other posters have had the same issue and resolved it using another solution that I didn’t list above I would really appreciate it hearing about it. thanks all!Hub 5 and Alexa
Hello, Today I received my Hub 5 and have connected to all my devices apart from my Alexa Echo and Show. Does anyone know why I cant connect these devices to Hub 5 when theey easily connected to my previous Hub 3? Thanks for any help/advice. Received a new Hub 5. Disconnected my hub 4, plugged in the new Hub after making all the connections and waiting for the lights to stop flashing and got the dreaded "no internet connection" warning on my devices. Rang the connection number, tapped 1, waited an hour. No change. Luckily I reconnected the old hub and it still works. I need internet to work. Any suggestions?
