Can't log in to Sky Sports app via VM log in
Hi all, I'm posting on behalf of my stepdad who has had recurring issues with the Sky Sports app for about a week now. I've tried repeatedly to uninstall the app - remove its data and caches, to no avail. As someone quite comfortable with computers, I am truly baffled. The Virgin Media TV app works absolutely fine. I get up the Sky Sports app and go to watch live sports (tennis for example) and am immediately brought to the Sky sign in page where there is an option to log in with Virgin TV UK as he's done so in the past and instead get a hapless loading bar that never loads a thing. It's stopped my elderly stepdad from watching his beloved cricket and tennis anywhere that isn't the big TV in the family home. Any advice or tips (beyond the obvious) would be much appreciated as I'd really like to get this resolved for him ASAP. It's really important to him and therefore really important to me! I've recently switched to virgin and been given the stream boxes. I went on the chat the other day asking about TV 360 as I was not aware I would be losing my ability to record TV to watch later, and they said that it's not available in my area. Then they said that I can record on the stream box using a USB device, which when looking I can see that's not possible at all. So I'm just wondering if the information I received about the TV 360 box was correct in the first place. It's just a quality of life thing, if TV 360 is limited to specific areas then that's fine.85Views0likes3CommentsNo TV service since account transferred to me after death of my dad.
I've got no TV service, and it's been like this now for over 24hrs. Ever since the bereavement team transferred the account from my dads name into mine. Every channel. Just says I need to subscribe. Have DM'd told it takes a few hours but will sort itself out. If not just restart the box. Which I've done six times now. Don't understand why the TV services have disappeared when everything else is working fine. Can anyone offer help. Recently moved home. Thought all was great. During the move as I expected my netflix was suspended. Now after use WhatsApp and a phone call to customer care. I still can't get my netflix back. That is included in my package. Was passed to "it team" over 7 days ago and nothing.
