I wanted to keep my Hub 2ac. I'm up and running, but I see no option to change my connected device's names. When clicking on the information icon on the connected devices page, it states: 'To change the names of your devices return to the Home screen and make the changes by clicking on the device name in the Modem Status Overview.' But this is not possible. Clicking on the displayed devices does nothing. Is this a known issue? Thanks. New Hub 5 Arrived - Do I Have To Use It? So I just signed up to a new M125 contract, not a great deal TBH, and still in the 14 days cooling-off period. It was insisted upon that I take a Hub 5 with the new contract. Can anyone tell me if I have to use it? I currently have a 2ac, and it's been fine for the most part. More importantly - I have read that the Hub 5 consumes quite a bit more power than the 2ac. If that's the case, I definitely don't want to use it. I'm increasingly struggling financially, and economising wherever I can. Thanks! Re: Change Hub DHCP Range OK I manually change my Mac's IP, powered up the NVR, and I'm in! Thanks so much 🙂 Re: Change Hub DHCP Range Thanks - currently the only means I have to try to access the NVR is via browser. There was a conflict with my monitor and the HMDI output, and I have no other monitors / display available. Once I am in, yes, I should be able to change the NVR / Cam's IP. I'm on a MacBook Air, and I think I know how to manually change its IP, but won't this then not connect to the VM hub if it's dynamically assigning 192.168.0 x? Currently my MacBook is on 192.168.0.3. Thanks! Re: Change Hub DHCP Range Where do I change the starting range? These are the options I have. The NVR I need to access has an IP of 192.168.1.108 Change Hub DHCP Range Hi all So I need to change my hub's DHCP range from 192.168.0.x to 192.168.1.x in order to access a NVR / IP Cams. My hub is a Super Hub 2ac. Is there any way to do this? Thanks. SolvedRe: Loss of Email - F010762348 AT LAST!!! THEY'RE BACK!!! I logged yet anotehr complaint yesterday. then early hours today (circa 3am), my email account went offline again. So I thought I would try webmail. Lo and behold! ALL of my historic emails had returned in webmail! Shortly followed by an email from Mr. Wehrle. I quit my mail app, restarted it, and I now I have all of my historic emails in my app too (Mac Mail). I'm relieved, massively relieved. My anger hasn't dissipated over this fiasco, it's been an appalling state of affairs. Right, I'm off to back up! Email received with my historic emails: Hi, We wanted to let you know that our teams have now completed the full restoration of your inbox, which means all of your historic emails should now be available. We sincerely apologise for the disruption you have experienced, and we will be carrying out a full review of this incident to ensure we learn from it in future. You do not need to take any action but if you need further assistance then our customer service teams are on hand to support. Kind regards, Axel Wehrle Director of Customer Service, Virgin Media Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 What a disgraceful, disgusting mess this has become. Just spoke with 'technical' support yet again. They are receiving, and I quote 'thousands' of calls about this. He said, answering my question as to whether we will ever regain our historic emails 'I can't guarantee you as of now if you will get your historic emails back. I can't tell you any more than that'. Let's face it, it's been over two weeks now. Any provider of any worth, if they had backups, would have had the issue sorted way before now. IMO they are stalling, waiting for the heat to die down, and will eventually announce they are not be able to restore the emails. It's an appalling situation. Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 The IMAP gods failed to deliver... 😑 Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 Received the notification email too, both of my ntlworld accounts are now showing as offline (1.50am). I'll be saying a prayer to the IMAP gods before I turn in.....
