Change Hub DHCP Range

Hi all

So I need to change my hub's DHCP range from 192.168.0.x to 192.168.1.x in order to access a NVR / IP Cams. My hub is a Super Hub 2ac. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks.

  • You may need to manually set a laptop to E.g. 192.168.1.200 to gain access to the admin menus of devices with a static IP in the 192.168.1.xxx range.

    1) We can't change the DHCP range of a VM Hub, but the NVR / IP Cams will allow you to change their IP range to 192.168.0.xxx to match the DHCP IP range of the VM Hub.

    2) If you can re-enable DHCP on the NVR / IP Cams this is another way to get them working on the 192.168.0.xxx used by a VM Hub.  A factory reset may re-enable DHCP.

Where do I change the starting range? These are the options I have. The NVR I need to access has an IP of 192.168.1.108

Thanks - currently the only means I have to try to access the NVR is via browser. There was a conflict with my monitor and the HMDI output, and I have no other monitors / display available. Once I am in, yes, I should be able to change the NVR / Cam's IP.

I'm on a MacBook Air, and I think I know how to manually change its IP, but won't this then not connect to the VM hub if it's dynamically assigning 192.168.0 x? Currently my MacBook is on 192.168.0.3.

    Thanks!

OK I manually change my Mac's IP, powered up the NVR, and I'm in!

    Thanks so much 🙂
